Alice "Jolene" Walker

August 19, 1941 — July 28, 2025

Alice Jolene Snell Pulsipher Walker, known to her loved ones as Jolene, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, at the age of 83.

Jolene was born on August 19, 1941, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Braemar Silas Snell and Alice Lunceford Snell. She was raised in Spanish Fork and attended local schools, forming lifelong friendships and developing the caring, resilient spirit that defined her life.

On January 6, 1961, she married William Rees (Billy) Pulsipher, and together they had three children. Billy preceded her in death on October 30, 1970. Jolene found love again and married Kay Walker on November 3, 1972. They were married for almost 47 years until Kay’s passing on August 22, 2019.

Jolene’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her 3 children Dennis (Tracy) Pulsipher, Lorraine (Steve) Tanner, and Brad (Margie) Pulsipher, as well as 2 step-daughters, Kathie (John) Rockwell and Kim (Rob) Price She was a devoted grandmother to 19 grandchildren, and 38 + great grandchildren.

Jolene worked at Mountain Country Foods for many years and developed lasting friendships, which she cherished throughout her life. Jolene was in several bowling leagues and won many trophies, but most important to her were the bonds she created with people.

She is also survived by her sister Louise Abbott, brother Jay Snell (Pat), her sisters-in-law Maurine Canto and Jill Snell, and two brothers-in-law Kent and Kurt (Susan) Walker. Jolene was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill Snell.

Jolene's family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the care given by Dignity Hospice and at Beehive Homes in Spanish Fork. Their loving environment, attentive care, and genuine compassion brought peace to Jolene and her loved ones
