Barbara Hafen

Barbara P. Hafen, age 88 of Springville, peacefully passed away October 15, 2015. Born October 12, 1927 in Soldier Summit, Utah. She was the daughter of William Petersen and Wilma Peterson Simmons. She married her sweetheart V. Dean Hafen on November 17, 1950. The marriage was later solemnized in in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.



Barbara modeled her life offering service and support to others. She was mother of 4 children, and enjoyed going fishing with her husband, reading, needlework and genealogy. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in many callings.



Barbara is survived by 3 daughters, Jill (Russ) Baxter, Nancy (Reed) Burr, Joy Erickson; 9 grandchildren, 13 grandchildren and 5 brothers: Bill (Connie) Simmons, Jerry Simmons, Duane (Mary Ellen) Simmons, Robert Pat (Karen) Simmons, Joe (Chris) Simmons.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Quail Hollow Ward, 900 Del Monte Road, Spanish Fork, UT.
