Bruce was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 15, 1925 to James G and Maggie Bertha (Vorwaller) Lindow. He will be remembered as a man of integrity and an engaging story-teller. He often used his life experiences in story-telling to help build faith in Jesus Christ and to encourage and for entertainment.



He enlisted in the army during World War II and served in Europe for two years, first as a Second Scout and then he was assigned to the Military Police.



His quick intellect for math and science led him to develop innovative and advancements in his chosen profession in Masonry/Construction which are still in use today. Bruce enjoyed being with his family, especially being with his sweetheart Helen. He enjoyed bowling and received many awards. One unique award he won was with Helen as his partner, they carried the highest average for the 1968-1969 season in the "Brides & Grooms League".



They were temple workers in the Oakland California temple and the Provo Temple. His expertise and experience in the building industry made him a valuable resource while serving on the Building Committee for the growing city of Elk Ridge, Utah.



As a teenager he received the highest marks in his mechanical drawing classes and took up oil painting as an adult.



He married Helen (Nowotny) Lindow, October 17, 1947 in the Salt Lake City Temple. After 67 years of marriage, Helen passed away. They are survived by their four children; Michael (Zettalee) Lindow, Ilene (Neil) Dykstra, H. Claudia (Kenneth) White, Deanna (Leland) Christensen. They have 27 Grandchildren and 66 Great Grandchildren. Bruce is also survived by his brother, Kay (Merlene) Lindow.



Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2923, 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel, 450 Elk Ridge Drive, Elk Ridge, Utah. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment: Sunset Larkin Gardens, Sandy, Utah
