Carol Irene Walden, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2014 in Santaquin, UT. She was born November 30th, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Kenneth LeRoy Hall and Laura Whitney Andrews. She married Harry Walden in 1975, they were later divorced.
Carol attended Moorhead State College, Moorhead, MN where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Library Science. She worked as a school librarian in Sumner, WA and in the media center at Green River Community College, Green River, WA. She later moved to Tucson, AZ where she worked as a library specialist at Pima Community College until her retirement. After retiring she moved to Payson, Utah.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her brother Charles Hall of Salem, UT and sister Cathy Hall of Thornton, CO.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 24th, 2014 at the Santaquin City Cemetery, 100 E 300 S Santaquin, UT under the direction of Legacy Funeral Home.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Payson Meals on Wheels, Intermountain Hospice and everyone at Seasons of Santaquin for the wonderful care they provided.
