Cathie Ann Downs

Cathie was called home on October 21st 2025 after a few hard years dealing with some major health issues.

Cathie Ann Downs was born on September 5th 1962 in Tucson, Arizona to Jim and Karen Downs

Her siblings were Jason and Sue Downs (Oregon ) Susan and Kim Wilson (Maine) and James Downs the 2nd (Saint George, UT)

Cathie had many different jobs in her life. She was a secretary/ receptionist at a few offices. She was the boss over the newspaper carriers in St. George Utah for the The Daily Spectrum News she also sold Avon for many years too and she enjoyed that as well

Cathie enjoyed classic cars and “Cruising” in her 1970 blue Camaro that she kept since she was 16 many good times driving her car and also with my dad in his Camaro.

Later in life Cathie had a dog grooming business and also had a nail salon in her home basement.

Cathie loved spending time with her family, and her 3 grandchildren Moroni and Abigail and Bridges Freeman and her many nieces and nephews

Cathie was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints She held some callings in the church in her life.

In April 1982 she married Willie Allred in Arizona

They had 4 children. One daughter Stefanie And three sons Mike, Daniel and were able to adopt Nick in 2000

In 2006 she and her sons moved to Elk Ridge Utah then to Salem Utah
