Cody was born October 9, 1990 in Provo, Utah to Laura Lindsay and Gerald Evans. He married Joana Evans on June 7. 2011 at the age of 20. They had one son, Dylan Evans and two daughters Kodie Evans and Alessandra Evans who were his pride and joy.

Cody enjoyed many things in life, mainly spending time with his family and his three children. He loved being outdoors camping, fishing, playing video games and driving his truck around. Cody's brother said that he was one of the best skaters and loved spending time with him. They would go to the gym or play basketball with their other brothers. He loved his moms homemade meals. He loved to get together on any occasion and have a BBQ. His brother said "He loved playing or talking about games. He liked talking about new games or games he beat and give pointers on how to beat a game". He loved spending time with his son and his princesses, playing video games, going to the arcade, throwing the football around, watching tv shows, going for rides, building, coloring.
