Corey Draney

Corey Lynn Draney, 41, of Spanish Fork, UT passed away April 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.



Corey was born May 20, 1974 in Provo, Utah to Kevin and Sue Dickerson Draney. He married Allison Landon on June 4, 1993.



Corey loved to spend time camping, fishing and hunting with family and friends. He loved baseball and coaching his children as well as his beloved Team Xtreme. But most of all, he loved raising his children and family always came first. He loved working his job as an electrician at Cache Valley Electric for over 20 years as a superintendent. The Provo Temple was one of his last jobs and also one of his favorites, along with the Olympics at the Provo Ice Rink. We would like to give special thanks to all of the Cache Valley Electric family for all the help and support over the last 20 years



He is survived by his wife Allison Landon Draney, daughter Brooklyn Paige Draney, sons Mason Corey and Easton Ryder Draney, parents Kevin and Sue Dickerson Draney, siblings Derek Draney, Brett (Chelsea) Draney and Lessly (Jeff) Draney Loflin, mother in-law Karen Landon, many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by father-in-law Lamar Landon, uncles Asa Jr. Draney, Kelley Draney and Casey Draney, cousins Jason Fenton, Kristen Farnsworth, Jeana College and aunt Karen Dickerson.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Canyon Crest Ward, 2981 East 1660 South, Spanish Fork, UT. There will be a viewing on Friday from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the church and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
