Dorleen Williams

Dorleen (Dot) Marie Moore Williams, age 82, passed away on September 15, 2025 in Salem Utah. Her loving family was by her side.

Dot was born to Eric Moore and Lillian Marie Anderson Moore on June 28, 1943 in Rawlings, Wyoming. She married the love of her life, Kenny Joe Williams on April 22, 1961 in Provo Utah. They had 54 wonderful years together, welcomed three beautiful children into the world and fostered one more, all of whom they loved with all their hearts.

Dot was a very hard worker. She worked at the Eagles Lodge for 13 years. Afterwards, Dot worked at the Mount Pleasant School District until she retired.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, her brother (Fred Moore), her beloved husband Kenny Williams, and her daughter-in-law Tedi Jo Williams.

Dot is survived by her children Brenda (Stan) Hallam, Salem, Utah, Shawn (Vickie) Williams, Pleasant Grove, Utah, Mike (Michelle) Williams, Provo, Utah and Judy (Kevin) Smith, Kent, Washington. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Upon Dot's request, she will be cremated. The family would like to thank the staff at Utah Home, Health and Hospice: her nurse McCall, her aide Kory, and her chaplain Caitlin for the loving, wonderful way they took care of Mom. We appreciate each and every one of 

                                                                                                  I Made It Home

I just wanted to let you know I made it home. 

Everything is so pretty here, so fresh, so new.  I wish that you could close your eyes so you could see it too.

Please try not to be sad for me. Try to understand. God is taking care of me. . . I'm in the shelter of His hands.

Here there is no sadness, and no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying, and I'll never hurt again. 

Here it is so peaceful, when all the angels sing. I really have to go now. . . I've just got to try my wings.
