Fawn (Sumsion) Perkins, 78, of Springville, UT, passed away Wednesday October 14, 2015, in Provo, UT and returned to her loving parents and younger brother Brent Ferris Sumsion. She was born April 25, 1937 in Springville, UT, to John Bert Sumsion, and Jessie LaFollette. She was married to Marion Leon Haney June 12, 1959, (divorced), and later married to William Walter Perkins (surviving spouse) May 7, 1991 who she was sealed to for time and all eternity.
Surviving family members are her brothers Mark LaFollett, and Niel Drue Sumsion of Springville; step-children Donna Jean (Perkins) Baller, William Walter Perkins Jr., Jacqueline Eileen (Perkins) Jones, and Kevin Scott Perkins; and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Fawn was a long time resident of Springville where she lived since birth. She graduated from Springville High School. She worked for Deseret Industries for close to 20 years.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and loved the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She loved spending time with grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, and all that knew her.
The viewing is 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 55 N Main St, Springville, UT 84663. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2015. The burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Springville, UT.
