Ivan Sessions Luke, age 70, passed away peacefully January 23, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Born March 1, 1945 in Heber City, Utah to Lawrence and Leona Luke. While Ivan was born in Heber City, he spent the majority of his life in American Fork.
Ivan attended American Fork High School. After graduation he worked for Geneva Steel until the plant closed in the late 1990's. He continued to work various jobs until recently.
Ivan enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, from fishing and hunting to camping. He also had a passion for racing cars.
Ivan married JoAnn Sargent in 1969 and they had four children. They later divorced and Ivan met Sharon, the love of his life. They married February 12, 1999 and spent many wonderful years together.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January, 29, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 761 East 400 North, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Legacy Funeral Home, 3595 N. Main Street, Spanish Fork, UT. There will be an additional viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
