Jodi Lynn Hansen

November 5, 1967 — March 21, 2026

Jodi Leatham Hansen was born on November 5, 1967, in Rexburg, Idaho to Mike Leatham(Linda) and Karen Bybee(Tom). Jodi was very friendly, accepting, and kind, which helped her forge close friendships throughout her life. During childhood Jodi moved to Oregon and it quickly became her favorite place. She greatly enjoyed the easy access to the ocean, the forest, seafood, and culture. In high school, Jodi moved to Mona, Utah, where she graduated from Juab High School in 1986. After graduating she attended Snow College where her favorite pastimes included hacky sack, going to the arcade to play Joust and Ms. Pac-Man, and finding things to get into. Jodi finished her degree at Utah Valley State College in Hospitality Management. She went on to work at many different companies for their shipping departments.

In 1998, Jodi met Brad at Alumax, where their love story started. Jodi married Brad Hansen in 1999, and he was her lifelong king of nothing, adventurer, and true love. Jodi is survived by her spouse Brad Hansen; three sons including Brandon Leatham (Elizabeth), Nathan Hansen (Violet), and Connor Hansen (Acacia); two grandchildren, Emmy and Finnley Leatham ; Siblings Eric Leatham (Meagan), Bart Leatham (Heather), and Jenny Spotten; as well as multiple great nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends that will feel her loss immensely.

Jodi always loved getting out for a drive, hiking, camping, traveling, and experiencing new things. With the family Jodi and Brad were able to travel to see places like Escalante, Death Valley, Valley of Fire, Hilton Head, Tillamook, Sisters, Yachats, and some of Western Europe. When traveling, Jodi and Brad always preferred to bring their dogs with them. Her soul dog was Major, a Newfie who understood her almost as well as Brad. Jodi had a great love for animals and welcomed many puppies and rescues into their lives. She always made sure they had a good home and were loved.
