John Stover

John Edward Stover Jr. of Mapleton died March 5, 2017 at the age of 71 with his loving wife by his bedside. Born March 29, 1945 in Roanoke, VA to John Edward Stover Sr. and Mable Marie Dawson Stover. He married Vicky Elaine Griffin Stover and together had four children, a son, John Edward (Jacque Simmons) Stover III, Daughter, Sharon Elaine (Steve) Smith, Son Christopher Scott (Erika) Stover, and Daughter, Mary Ellen (Shad) Messick. They have eleven grand children.



He is survived by Barbara Ann (Jerome) Fogle, Janet Laretta (Larry) Jennings, Brenda Joyce (Gene - Deceased) Dodd, Danny Lee (Donna) Stover, James Joseph-Jimmy (Nancy) Stover. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Alice Marie Stover and brothers, Michael Wayne Stover and Larry Stephen Stover.



A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. at the Mapleton LDS Church, 1050 N. 300 W. Mapleton. Funeral services will be held at the same church on Wednesday, March 8th 2017 at 11a.m. with a visitation from 9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. Interment with be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
