Kenneth Howard Mills, 85 of Spanish Fork passed away June 28, 2013 at home surrounded by family.
He was born April 17, 1928 to John and Elizabeth Howard Mills in American Fork, Utah. He spent his early childhood in Carbon County and attended school in American Fork but always considered Castle Country to be his home. He was in the Army from 1945 to 1948 and remained an active member of the VFW for many years. He retired from Pitt-Des Moines Steel in 1993.
He enjoyed camping and fishing and spending time with his family especially the "little ones". He married Evelyn Woodland on Aug 9, 1965 in Elko, NV.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn and 10 children Patricia (Brent) Jackson, Chris (Steve) Black, Cennie Lynn (Larry) Smith, Bonnie (Tyler) Black, Gayle (Sue) Mills, Lori (Rick) Houston, Brad Mills, Lesa Pace, Melissa (Michael) Manhard and Bobbie Johnson also 25 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Jack, Bill, Don, Bessie, James and Roy, his daughter Jackie Mae Stoker, great granddaughter Nicole Baker and son-in-law Monte Pace.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 starting at 12:30 pm at Canyon View Park Pavilion 2, 3300 E. Powerhouse Road, Spanish Fork.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Dignity Hospice. We would also like to thank Jackie's daughters Shelly, Kim and Lacey for their time, love and devotion to their Grandpa the last weeks of his life.
