Marcia Jones

Marcia Jones, 70, of Spanish Fork, Utah, died peacefully on March 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and husband.
Marcia was born in Missoula, Montana but spent most of her childhood in Midvale, Utah where she graduated from Hillcrest High School. She had four children with her first husband.
Marcia married David Jones in 1991 and moved to Covered Bridge Canyon up Spanish Fork Canyon after they finished building their dream log home. David and Marcia enjoyed the outdoors spending time fishing, hunting, golfing, and camping with their children.
Marcia had a successful career as a medical technician working for multiple companies in Salt Lake and Utah County. She was a great example of hard work where she held multiple jobs to provide for her family.
Marcia was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who was very compassionate and served many individuals that were less fortunate. Marcia organized many food and clothing drives throughout the years. Marcia had tremendous faith until the very end and personally knew her Savior.
She had a deep love for animals where she rescued many dogs and cats bringing them into her home or finding other homes for them. She was a volunteer at the animal shelter.
Marcia loved her children and grandchildren and spent time visiting them that took her around the world. Marcia helped raise some of her grandchildren and taught them the value of hard work and self-reliance. Marcia was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Her impact will carry on with us.
She was courageous during her long battle with cancer and stayed positive throughout this experience. She showed kindness and gratitude to those who cared for her and was a great example until the very end.
She is survived by her husband David Jones, Robert Fromm (brother), Danny Karren (son), Jen and Derek Huff (daughter & son-in-law) Kyle and Katie Karren (son & daughter-in-law), Cris and Scott Luther (step daughter & son-in-law) 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Todd Karren (son), Lucile Fromm (mother), Theodore Fromm (father).
