Maria Donna Landeros (Salomon), 77 years of age, passed on Sunday May 31, 2020 at Beehive Homes of Payson, Utah.
Maria was born May 3, 1943 in Waldsachsen, Germany to Wilhelm and Bronislavia Solomon. She was the fourth of six children, and is survived by three Sisters residing in Germany. Maria lived in several different cities in Germany learning trades in jewelry and homemaking, until she relocated to Los Angeles County in 1968.
Maria devoted her love and life to raising five flourishing children in Visalia, California. She is survived by three Daughters and two Sons. Maria was a Grandmother (Oma) to ten Grandchildren, and ten Great-Grandchildren.
Maria enjoyed life through the art of creativity. She was an avid quilter; making beautiful quilts for the community and those she loved. Maria had many talents and interests; she was an accomplished seamstress, and she enjoyed gardening, painting, wood-working, and many other artistic and textile hobbies. She thoroughly loved problem-solving and often found herself exploring different projects around the house. Maria was a fun-loving beacon of energy who did not mind getting her hands dirty and figuring out how to do things on her own. She was a very strong and independent woman who found strength through her family, and meeting others with similar interests. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and all who knew her.
Mom, you are missed so very much. As our family grows and flourishes, it is all because you loved us and taught us the values of life. Thank you for teaching us the importance of hard work, how to be resilient, and how to love. Your strength flows through each of us, and we are all the better because you were our mom. We all love you so very much and we pray that your mind is now at peace.
