Mark Immethun

Mark Immethun was born first son to James and Sandra Immethun January 22, 1961 in Oakland, California passed away at the age of 53 on January 18, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mark is survived by parents, brother David, sister in-law Dara, nephew Brian and niece Jennifer whom he spent holidays and birthdays with. Mark leaves several living relatives including Kathy, Tom, Sharon, Cheryl, Graig, Ben, Julie, Dorris, Marge, Joe, and Eileen living in the bay area that were often in his conversations. Mark shared a birthday with his mother and cousin Eileen Immethun. Mark held his bachelors degree from Cal State Hayward, and working towards his masters degree. Mark was a very thoughtful and selfless son, grandson, and nephew often staying with family members and stepping up in times of need. Mark lived in the east bay area his whole life and was an avid sports enthusiast, favoring east bay teams, and enjoyed talking sports with friends and family, playing baseball/softball, skiing, playing cards, and watching professional, high school and college sporting events live with his family members. Mark's final resting place will be with his grandparents, Georgia Mae and Ed Immethun in Hayward, California.
