Maxine Larsen

June 6, 1938 — February 10, 2014

Maxine was born June 6, 1938 in Spanish Fork, UT to Bert and Edith Hales. She returned to her Father in Heaven on February 10, 2014 at home surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer.



Maxine married Robert A. Larsen on June 10, 1955. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogas L.D.S. Temple.



Mom was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver throughout her life. She owned and operated Larsen's Nursing Home in Lehi for 25 years, providing a very high quality of care to many. After retiring Mom and Dad moved to Nephi, enjoying many winters in Yuma, making many friends and maintaining friendships throughout their lives.



Maxine is survived by her husband, six children Patricia (Alan) Swenson of Benjamin, Pamela (Charles) Hickman of Lehi, Paula (Rocky) Petroff of Lehi, Allen (Sherri) Larsen of Saratoga Springs, Steven (Joan) Larsen of Nephi and Brent (Nikki) Larsen of Saratoga Springs; 28 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Elaine, Charlotte, Bonnie and Kathy. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bert and twin brother Max.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the 19th Ward meetinghouse, 587 N. Main Street, Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the church Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm or Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to services. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.



The family would like to thank the many wonderful caregivers and especially Jason, Kori and her daughter Paula with A-Plus Hospice.
