Richard Measom

Richard Jack Measom, 61, passed away June 5th, 2015 at his home in Springville, Utah.



Richard was born January 22, 1954 in Provo, Utah to Jack and Leah Measom. Richard graduated from Springville High School in 1972. He enjoyed school and especially loved to read. He was on the school basketball team and played little league baseball. He had a love for animals as a child and loved his dogs! Richard's love and fascination with mechanics grew from a young age. He was a skilled mechanic and has always enjoyed his job working on all vehicles. Richard loved to be in the outdoors and spend time with his family. He had such a caring heart and would do anything to help out friends, family, and even complete strangers. He was quick to befriend anyone that came in contact with him.



Richard is survived by his mother; Leah Measom, siblings; Kelly Measom, Debbie Chase, and Brad Measom, children; John Measom, Lucinda Measom, Robert Measom and April Fraughton and grandchildren; Cameron Edington, Vincent Fraughton, Samuel Fraughton, Hailie Fraughton, and Logan Fraughton.
