Ronald (Ronnie) Blayne Hales passed away in the early morning hours of August 11, 2025, at his home in Payson, Utah. Our beloved husband, Dad, Grandpa, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend will be forever missed but always remembered in our hearts.
Ronnie was born in Payson, Utah on March 03, 1953, to Blaine Hales and Lola Mae Rowe. Ronnie married his sweetheart Christina, on March 18, 1971. They have been married for over 54 years. Ronnie loved his beautiful bride more than anything.
Ronnie attended school in Spanish Fork, Utah and never went far from there his entire life. He supported his family for most of his life by driving a dump truck and owned his own trucking company for many years. He enjoyed all the time he got to spend in his truck.
Ronnie loved spending time outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing. Many fond memories and amusing stories were created on Skyline Drive, Ronnie’s favorite outdoor spot. He looked forward to being outdoors and surrounded by his family and friends. One of Ronnie’s life highlights happened later in his life when he took his first airplane ride and got to watch his much-loved Broncos play at Mile High Stadium.
Always quick with a funny story or insightful comment, Ronnie was known to love the little kids and big kids alike. They knew he was always good for a treat, and he kept his pocket full of candy just to pass it out. No matter what else was going on Ronnie was always willing to help others.
Ronnie truly loved all his family and left many loved ones to cherish his memory. They include his wife, Christina, and his children, daughters, Shelly (Jen) Hales, Julie Hales, Melanie Hales and son, Cody Hales. His siblings include Jackie (Blaine) White, Reed (Shantelle) Hales, Cheryl Hanks, Allen (Cathy) Moore, Kathy Wiscombe, Roy (Cathy) Moore, Shaunee (Norm) McDonald, Kevin (Claudia) Hales, and Ramona (Drew) Peck. Ronnie’s grandkids are Casey (Liv) Johnson, Josey (Jericka) Johnson, Bailey Johnson, Jesey (Vikki) Johnson, and Cassie Noland. He has ten great grandchildren. Ronnie also leaves behind his best friend and faithful dog Howie.
Ronnie has been reunited with his parents, Blaine Hales and Lola Mae Rowe, his brother, Melvin Hales, his children, Cody Hales and Melanie Hales, his brothers-in-law, Blaine (Jackie) White and Raymond (Spring) Banks, and his sister-in-law Cathy (Allen) Moore.
