1943 ~ 2015
Steven Ross Chappell, age 72, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully on September 10, 2015. He worked at the LDS Hospital for over 35 years, in which he loved every minute. He was married to his wife Lauri for 52 years where they had four children - Dale (Heidi), Michael (deceased), Tami (Mike), Debbi (Paul), 21 grandkids and 10 great grandkids. He loved his family very much and was so proud of all of them.
Dad loved to fish, hunt, bowl and play pool. He was very proud of his abilities at playing pool and loved to brag about the medals he won. Dad's favorite place on this earth was Ferron, Utah where he hunted and fished for many years. A lot of memories were made all ending with the favorite quote of, "what the Sam Hell". Dad - you are very loved and will be greatly missed.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Kearns 34th Ward on 5905 South 4000 West from 11:00 - 1:00 pm with graveside services held at the Tooele City Cemetery, 361 South 100 East at 2:00 pm.
