Susan Carlisle

Susan Liechty Carlisle, 52, passed away at home in Provo on Friday, December 20, 2019. She was born July 28,1967 to Edgel (Nina) and Carolyn Liechty at St. George, Utah.



Susan loved animals especially her cat Willow. She enjoyed feeding the birds outside her home. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved reading and learning about her ancestors. Susan was recently called to be a Ward Temple and Family History Consultant. She was very excited about her new calling. Susan was very close to completing a bachelors in science in Criminal Justice Administration. She enjoyed studying the law. She was a caring person and always willing to help others. Susan will be greatly missed.



Survivors include her son Riley (Ingunn) Bennett; her daughter Sicily Bennett; 3 grandchildren Rowan, Henrik, and Maude; her father Edgel (Nina) Liechty; her siblings: Andrea (Fahalla "Freddie") Adabashi, Kathy Bennett, Michael (Terri) Liechty, Doug (Anne) Liechty, Christopher (Hailey) Liechty, Melinda Reynolds, Patrick (Mary) Liechty, George (Sara) Liechty, Nicholas (Michelle) Liechty, and Eric (Charlyn) Liechty.



She was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Liechty; and 2 sons Preston Coles, and Forrest Richard MacSparran.



A time of visitation will be held on Friday, January 3 from 9:30 until 10:45 at the LDS chapel located at 1960 North 1500 East Provo, Utah. Funeral services will be held directly following the visitation at 11:00am. She will be interred at the Orem City Cemetery.
