Wayne Ernest Johnson, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025.

Born on April 7, 1941, to Ernest Henry Johnson and Fannie Lieul Kinder, Wayne was a devoted family man whose greatest joys were found in the outdoors with his loved ones. He married his beloved wife, Julie Ann Gillette, on February 9, 1979, sharing 46 wonderful years together.

Wayne cherished the time he spent fishing with his children, brothers, and nephews, creating countless lasting memories on the water. He took immense pride in passing on his love for nature by teaching his grandchildren to fish and hunt. Known for his generous spirit, Wayne was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Wayne joins his parents, Ernest and Fannie, along with his siblings, Marie, Deanna La Vaughn, and Richard (Arlen) in eternal rest. His gentle presence will be profoundly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; his six children: Tammy, Jodi, Cordell, Christopher, Brian, and Kyle; and his eight cherished grandchildren: Skyler, Emma, Alivia, Logan, Wesley, Conner, Oaklyn, and James.

His legacy of kindness, love for family, and passion for the outdoors will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The service will take place at the Stake Center located at 545 North 200 East, Santaquin, Utah,
