Zenon "Zigi" Grabowiec
July 12 1925 - January 1 2018
Zigi passed away in his sleep on Jan 1st at the Abbington Senior Living Community in Mapleton Utah. He was a long time resident of Orem and Provo, Utah.
Zigi came from a large family in Poland, and was separated from them at an early age during World War II. After the war he was sponsored and came to America. He lived in Chicago and had meet Irma Page, and they had their daughter Monica. Zigi moved around and always stayed close to his daughter throughout her life. She was everything to him and he loved to be around her and his grandchildren as often as he could.
Zigi always loved his vehicles and tickering with them. He also loved to frequent the local thrift shops and later in life would take his power wheel chair to them just to browse and get out. He always kept himself busy and many times his family would see him cruising around the streets of Provo in his power chair.
He is preceded in death by his only child Monica Irma Grabowiec Heinz Byrd, and survived by grandchildren Monica Patricia "Trish" Heinz, Ralph Heinz and Spencer Heinz (Tracey Smith). His great grandchildren Gunnar Heinz, Hayden Heinz, Coleman Heinz, McKazlie Heinz, Tregan Heinz, Canyon Heinz, Treyson Heinz and Tinsley Heinz.
